Software Test Analyst

Software Test Analyst (Telecommunications)

New role for experienced Test Analyst in dynamic company in exciting Telecommunications sector.

DGiT is a specialist, innovative Telco and Cloud Systems and Solutions firm located in Melbourne, Auckland and Bali. It is a dynamic company offering an outstanding opportunity for motivated candidates to make their mark. It currently has a vacancy for a Test Analyst.

DGiT develops some leading Software products and Consultancy to this fast moving industry sector. DGiT has had some considerable influence over International standards for Telecommunications systems and is now poised to provide its software and solutions to a broad array of Telecommunications service providers globally.

Based on Sunset Rd, Kuta area, Bali, DGiT is a fast moving and fun work environment operates with a very approachable and flat management structure.

In this role you will work with;

1.     Structured Approaches to QA and Testing

2.     Telecommunications Products

3.     Telecommunications and Cloud Systems Standards

4.     Agile and Waterfall methodologies

5.     Leading Software Management tools

We are looking for a Test Analyst;

1.     With excellent communication and written skills in English.

2.     Who enjoys investigating and resolving technical issues.

3.     Has the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated to meet deadlines. 

4.     Has good time management and organisational skills.

5.     Must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to apply a methodical approach to problem solving.

6.     With a relevant IT degree and exposure to the full SDLC.

You can expect to be involved in a broad range of aspects of QA and Testing over time.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Write structured test plans, specifications, test cases and their associated detailed test scripts and results
• Execute test cases throughout a sequence of software releases
• Accurately articulate and document software defects and/or changes uncovered during testing
• Establish excellent communications channels with end-users and development/technical staff
• Work independently and be self sufficient, whilst having the skills to work collaboratively with business representatives and development team members
• Provide guidance to junior QA staff if required
• Be flexible and responsive to fulfilling other duties as required
• Providing support to client during execution of UAT and BRT
• Providing ongoing support to the client once Software is release in to Production

This role may require some travel and candidates must be able to travel if required.
